Eye Conditions related to Lyme Disease are treated in the Cornea Service, the Comprehensive Ophthalmology Faculty Practice and the Neuro-Ophthalmology Service
Lyme disease is a tick-borne disease that often goes unrecognized until it has affected many parts of the body, including the eyes. Involvement of the eye is uncommon in lyme disease. However, when the eyes are affected, conjunctivitis (pink eye) is often the first symptom.
